The first FIDE online Chess Olympiad for people with disabilities was held on the Internet from 21 to 27 November 2020.

Supporting an unexpected and overwhelming challenge of the International Federation, 60 teams from different countries of the world expressed their desire to compete in the tournament.

In the main composition, it was allowed to declare the following gender distribution: 3 men and 1 woman and 4 reserve players. It was decided to conduct the first stage of this virtual chess battle by the Swiss system in 7 rounds.

The 4 best teams go to the semi-finals. The time control was allocated 25 minutes with the addition of 10 seconds per each move to the end of the game.
