The ICCD Board would like to thank Holger Mende, who has been looking after the ICCD Finances for the past 11 years since his election in 2014, for his hard work and unwavering support for the deaf chess.

He stepped down on 1st July 2025 – while we wish him a happy and long retirement, we know we will still see him at future ICCD events.

Ilan Dwek, the current ICCD Secretary-General, will be looking after the ICCD finances on a temporary basis until May 2026 when the ICCD will hold its Congress in Spain.
